As the Product Owner for our Asset Management Data Platform, I am responsible for prioritizing the business needs and managing the backlog of an IT team focused on building the company’s first digital, cloud-based platform in Microsoft Azure while utilizing scrum. The objectives of the team are to ingest data from field devices into the cloud for the purposes of building predictive/prescriptive analytical models and dashboards as well as integrating intelligence into our work management platform. As a T&S Standards Engineer, my areas of responsibility and technical expertise focus on transmission substation physical electrical standards including, but not limited to, ground grids and associated equipment, circuit breakers (15kV - 550kV), GIS, instrument transformers, surge arresters, HVAC, metering, and contractor management.With previous supervisor experience, I am also a mentor to the newer employees within the group to provide internal process support as well as overall career development guidance.

Worked as a customer support engineer analyzing the reliability of distribution circuits in the region. Helped to improve the reliability of service to customers by solving power quality issues and designing solutions to frequent power outage issues. Performed load transfer studies and peak load data impacts to circuits across the region to maintain adequate voltage and reduce the power factor impact on the transmission system.
