As one of the two Creative Partners and Owners at & SMITH, Dan has helped establish their reputation as one of the most highly respected and awarded branding consultancies for the hospitality sector.Dan began his career at Pentagram London in 2003, where he worked with clients such as One & Only, JP Morgan and the D&AD. In 2006, he became Senior Designer at Here Design, managing and working with clients such as the V&A, English Pen and The Balvenie Single Malt Whisky.Since starting & SMITH in 2008, Dan has worked with an impressive portfolio of clients including Liberty London, Carlton Cannes, Hotel Bel-Air, YO! Sushi, Danone, Shropshire Council, Intercontinental Hotels, Shake Shack, Byron, Paramount Hotels and Resorts, Porto Montenegro and Kimpton Hotels. Dan’s work has been widely published in books and the design press. As well as being on various awards judging panels, he has also received awards from D&AD, European Design Awards, The Brand Impact Awards, ADC Annual Awards, Restaurant and Bar Design Awards, Food and Beverage Design Awards, Transform Awards, Creative Review, Pentawards, The Dieline and Communication Arts.
