Dan is the President & CEO of American Power Services Inc. headquartered in Erlanger, Kentucky. Dan has 40 years of heat transfer equipment service experience and leads a team of service technicians and engineers dedicated to condenser, feedwater heater, and heat exchanger testing, troubleshooting, re-engineering, repairing and rebuilding to provide reliability, availability, efficiency and longer equipment life. Dan founded American Power Services on July 1, 1985 (26 years ago) and has expanded APS’s service capabilities with the development of hundreds of trade secrets, service methods and number of patents specifically designed to improve utility plant performance. Prior to forming APS, Dan started a Utility condenser and feedwater heater service business called Perfex Service Inc. before it was sold to Southwestern Engineering in 1985.Dan started his service career with Johnson Controls in 1968 as an Application Engineer, Branch Service Manager, National Service Manager and National Service Marketing Manager. Dan’s main accomplishment at Johnson Controls was the development of estimating, quoting, training and servicing of heating and air conditioning equipment for industrial and commercial buildings through out the US and Canada.
