My lending background includes over thirty years of corporate banking with various lending and management responsibilities. Prior to my current role, I managed the Commercial Real Estate portfolio for Michigan and NW Ohio for PNC Bank and its predecessor banks National City and First of America. I specialized in tax-exempt and taxable bond financing throughout the corporation prior to joining the Commercial Real Estate Division in 1999. I was also was in charge of municipal lending in Michigan and Illinois, which included loan and deposit relationships with school districts, and various state and local governments. I received my BS in Mathematics from Ferris State College and MA in Economics from Western Michigan University. I entered the banking business in 1984. I was an instructor in the Economics Department of Western Michigan University and was their 2005 Alumni of the Year. My professional activities include Past President of the State Chapter of Robert Morris Associates, Michigan Bankers Association/Robert Morris Associates Commercial Lending School and Graduate School, Otsego Public Schools Board Treasurer, The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and other professional and civic organizations.
