My company performs compressed air and vacuum system audits on manufacturing, process and industrial applications. System audits typically save clients 20% to 50% of existing costs for operating these systems and ROI's are usually within 2 years after implementation.In addition, we do compressed air leak audits that locate, tag and quantify unproductive system leaks. As a normal part of this process, other unproductive demand applications are identified. A full report is included in each leak audit.

Directed two outside sales groups – Medical Facilities Equipment and PEP (patient environmental products) comprising 25 direct sales personnel selling products to engineers, contractors, hospitals, doctors and compliance personnel. Responsibilities included a nationwide service team, technical support staff, inside sales and project management teams totaling over 100 employees. Established corporate strategies and sales goals for domestic US sales and service.

Solberg manufactures filters, silencers and other related equipment for pneumatic, hydraulic and vacuum applications. I supervised an outside sales team of 10 direct sales personnel selling air and liquid filtration products to manufacturers, distributors, representatives and end-users primarily in vacuum and compressed air applications. I also directed the inside sales team and marketing personnel. Sales increased every year 4-6% in the face of severe competition from low cost manufacturers. I implemented training programs and provided applications assistance for clients and I assisted engineering with new product development.

Quincy manufactures reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors along with rotary screw vacuum pumps. I was completely responsible for the vacuum product line. I developed marketing strategies for rotary screw vacuum pumps. Increased business levels by working closely with territory managers and distribution network. Provided support for distributors by authoring sales literature, price sheets and application data sheets. Increased vacuum product business from $1.6M to over $6M through relationship building and guerilla marketing efforts. I assembled a support team to target OEM business, winning the industry’s largest OEM contract and increased sales over $1,000,000. In addition, I presented over 100 technical vacuum training seminars for the distribution network.
