As a replenishment planner, I was responsible for keeping Ace Hardware's 14 distribution centers stocked with product across the Automotive, Marine, and Bagged Salts (pool and ice melt) categories. This required managing tens of millions of dollars worth of inventory and purchase orders per year, in a pull system (as opposed to push, meaning our retail stores only order what they want and can't have excess inventory pushed to them). In addition to rebuying, the roll required forecasting promotional demand, tracking and updating purchases orders, providing resolution to inventory exceptions at the warehouses, and acting as a point of contact to both vendors and retailers with questions or problems with items in my product lines.
