About Dan Carroll

An 'A’ Licensed and AYA-qualified football coach with much experience from working at four professional academies: AFC Bournemouth, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brentford. I am the Academy Coach Developer (U9-14), having previously been Lead Youth Development Phase Coach, Interim Lead U18 Coach and Lead Foundation Phase Coach at AFC Bournemouth, so I have experience of leading and coaching teams in all three Development Phases.A former Director of Sport and Director of Pastoral Care with 19 years' teaching experience in three schools, as well as with a wealth of experience as a successful semi-professional player, I have a great deal to offer in terms of leadership and coach development. A former FA Affiliate Tutor for the Dorset FA, I delivered Level 1 and 2 courses across the County.I also have adult football management experience with semi-professional football teams, having previously managed Walton Casuals in Step 4, as well as Sturminster Newton United in Step 7. I have also been 1st Team Coach at Tooting & Mitcham United at Step 3 and 4, as well as their Youth Team Manager for two years.Eager to improve and reflect, I have been very fortunate to learn a great deal from working with the likes of Joe Roach at AFC Bournemouth, Geoff Noonan at Fulham FC, Gary Issott at Crystal Palace FC, and Barry Quin at Brentford FC.
