This role is to provide co-ordination of the facilities team and sub-contractors workloads thereby ensuring that the buildings and associated services are maintained to the highest standards. This includes the oversight and execution of a proactive maintenance programme along with a long term programme of asset renewal to ensure that the buildings remain.

The core purpose of this role is to conduct maintenance and improvement activities on the building structure, grounds and all supporting services. This includes proactive and reactive maintenance and also includes basic mechanical and electrical technical activities alongside conducting mechanical/electrical maintenance on the building structure, grounds.
