- Remotely supported clients with troubleshooting/installing/updating the company's proprietary software, the 17a-4 DataParser.- Used ticketing systems to manage client support requests with a 10-minute maximum response time.- Created software documentation, including installation/configuration guides and knowledge base articles for the ticketing system.- Created and maintained a client-facing user guide website with software documentation, significantly reducing the number of incoming support requests.- Worked with software engineers to define official testing processes for the company as we transitioned from a sole tester to a team.- Developed and executed manual testing plans and test cases for new and updated software releases, efficiently seeking out, thoroughly documenting, and reporting details on bugs and issues back to the software engineers.- Created new user accounts and test data for various platforms as needed for testing purposes.- Oversaw the selection of hiring candidates for the testing team.- Trained new software testers on the product and established testing processes.- Managed resources and assignments for a four-person testing team via Microsoft Planner.- Consulted with national and international clients regarding feature requests and Beta testing results to help drive improvements to various DataParser products, such as their Slack, Zoom, and MS Teams platforms.- Tracked new projects, builds, and associated changes via Azure DevOps.- Provided training and demonstrations to Support engineers when products were deemed ready for General Release.- Did development work on a web-based interface using C# in the ASP.NET MVC framework with Bootstrap and Razor elements to interact with an internal Azure SQL database of client's server and license information.- Responsible for managing my own time and tasks as a fully remote employee.
