I have had the good fortune to work in various areas of the construction business for over 2 decades. I was putting a roof on a garage, in Minnesota, in November. It had been 32 and 1/2 degrees and raining all day. I looked to my right and the sun was setting and it hit me that I have to find a different way to make a living. Fast forward and I became Director of Digital Government for the State of Iowa, later worked for the Federal Government in IT as an expert on Identity Verification and Validation.Now, living in North Carolina, I get to talk to construction people all day, inside where it is usually dry and well above freezing. I enjoy helping companies find the right people and people find the right companies. There is not much better than making that perfect match.
