Directed the bank's relationships with multinational corporate customers China-wide, through teams in Shanghai, Beijing, Xiamen and Shenzhen.Effective public representative for the organization. Enhanced the bank's image and brand recognition through interviews with the media, including CNBC, BBC, CNN and Euromoney. Published articles in Finance Asia and Global Finance magazines.

From the bank's China headquarters, directed 120 employees in four locations. (Remained Branch Manager of the flagship Shanghai Branch until returning to the U.S.) Maintained close working relationship with the People's Bank of China, (the Central Bank). Elected Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Association of Banks.

Recruited to Hong Kong to establish a unit focused on the US multinational market segment. Grew the US relationships from near zero to an established and thriving business. In recognition of the unit's success and proven ability to coach local staff, management responsibility was expanded to include three more teams.

Marketing team focused on selling trade finance services to large corporates. The 100 person operations center handled U.S dollar clearing and L/C settlement for a broad range of correspondent banks.
