Currently I am working for ShopLC remotely after returning home to Tampa Bay. I previously worked for for the Medical Team at Office Depot in Austin, Texas. I spend my days helping hospitals, clinics, doctors and elderly care facilities save lives fighting Covid. Prior to joining Office Depot, I was the Prime Time Host for Shop LC in Austin. On the air 6 days a week, since I was their top revenue generator. I was also their Customer Savings Executive, Co-host and Gem Expert.I also had my own line of jewelry there called "Jewelry Selections by Dan Dennis."I was their Sales Manager for years managing a department of approximately 30 people. I have written one book on gemstones and jewelry that was published by Harry N. Abrams, NYC that sold over 100,000 copies worldwide. The book, entitled "Gems: A Lively Guide for the Casual Collector" is available in Ebook format on Amazon.com. It is sold out. I am working on book two as we speak, and will release it soon. I have also held management positions, responsible for a staff of 20 sales people and as District Sales Manager, for a Fortune 500 corporation, responsible for 5 outside sales reps & 7 US States 3 Canadian Provinces.Business Consultant for the Gerson Lehrman Group, whose closest office is in Austin, Texas. They originally came to me from their office in Shanghai with a client in Singapore who needed advice in a business acumen that I had expertise in. I have handled multiple clients for them and continue to do so to this day. I have a 38 year career as a TV host, primarily with The Home Shopping Network, where I was their Prime Time Host and top revenue generator for 14 years. I was in management with two different networks in this industry, as VP of Purchasing with WSS-TV & Head of Hosts with The Jewelry Channel.
