I consider myself a nice guy, trying to change the world one person at a time. Everyone deserves a second chance, and with the right skills and thinking anyone can make it in this world without having to resort to problematic methods. I am currently managing the Programmes team for Corrections in Whanganui. I am extremely proud of what my team achieves and the culture that our office lives by. It is a culture of integrity, unity, support and Aroha; a team that looks after one another but still works hard to get the job done.I pride myself on being non-judgemental of others, and working with the person who presents to me, rather than the behaviour they exhibited to get there. When I was delivering programmes, I used CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and other psychological methods to help people change their thinking, and therefore their behaviour.
