DEI Distributing and Danko Enterprises provides engineering, design and construction services for Advanced Energy Systems, Co-generation Systems and Power Conditioning systems. Also, performs Utility Rate and Usage Analysis. DEI is always looking for ways to save it's customers money through reduced energy consumption or rate reductions.

Responsible for consulting services in the energy field, Co-generation, fuel cells, photovoltaic systems and advanced energystorage systems including, but not limited, to best applicationof technology, configuration, savings and cost analysis byestablishing and performing all Utility Rate analysis. Providefull Turn-Key projects, concept through installation and start-up. Services include Project Management, design engineering andGeneral Contracting for installation of Advanced Energy Storageand other facility equipment. Responsible for the P/L for thebusiness.

Looked for new business opportunities, wrote mathematical models toperform utility rate analysis, and investigated new products thatprovide validated energy savings. Provided Application Engineering tothe sales team, accompanied the sales persons in the field, preparedand delivered the sales presentations to the customers technicalstaff, directly. Oversaw all testing, installation of hardware andworked with the utilities in any rate alterations, modifications orchanges. Dissected all new utility rates to see how we could save ourcustomers, either in usage reduction or rate changes.

Looked for opportunities in Utility Cost Reduction that required engineering solutions, - Power Quality improvement- Sub-Transmission transformer stations- Co-generation, Reciprocating engine, CHP, Fuel Cells, MicroTurbines and etc.

Responsible for quotations and proposals for installation of Foxboro Controls in various industries. Full turn-key solutions for triple redundant processing and fail-safe systems.- Nuclear Power plants controls and instrumentation- Oil Refinery controls and instrumentation- Copper smelting operations- Power Plant conversionsProvided construction services, installation, start-up services and system training and support.

Construction EngineeringPerformed on-site review and provided sales assistance in quoting jobs.Managed Site Engineers and Contractors in the performance of largemulti-million dollars controls and instrumentation projects.Established standards for DCS installation drawings. These projects range from complete facility renovation tocompletely new production line equipment. Hired to bring automationinto totally manual operated process equipment. The types of projectswere to support the composite industry in ablative and advancedcomposite prepregs. The types of equipment cover low and medium furnaces(2000°C), continuous and batch leaching and drying systems, waste watertreatment systems, 60 ft. vertical treaters, horizontal hot melttreaters, and thin film coating systems. Converted internal engineeringand design to project management of outside resources throughhiring and training. Responsible for all Environmental activitiesand reporting.

Responsible for all environmental affairs, facilities and process lines. BP was a producer of composite materials (prepregs). Constantly looked for cost savings applications along with reliability. Processes were 24/7, 365 days a year, glitches in operations could cost millions of dollars in product losses.
