Currently I work in the preschool room, there I practically run the room from planning, observations and setting activities to organising the routine and the learning environment for the children. At Bright kids I have completed my level three qualification in childcare and gone from working in the before and after school club to becoming an integral member of the nursery, there I develop the children in line with the EYFS and plan activities. I have gained vast experience working with children in every room from babies up to the age of 11. I feel my strongest skill is being able to interact with the children, stimulating them and challenging them and being able to go into any room and adapt my behaviour to suit the age of the children. I sometimes cover in the holiday club where I look after the children all day and provide a range of activities and organise trips out for them. I feel children learn more when they are happy and engaged so I try to incorporate that into my daily routine and learning.

I resourced job roles through retail choice and LinkedIn giving me an understanding of how the Resourcing process works. I spoke to candidates on the phone to interview them for potential roles, finding out what their strengths and weaknesses are so I can place them with the right client. This furthered my customer service skills even more.I am in charge of our star graduate scheme where Graduates apply to become a star graduate of the week which I choose one each week, add all their details and work onto our website every week and update all our clients through mail chimp, I keep up to date with the graduates ensuring that they have all the support they need.Duties included:• Resource Job roles • Adding CV’s to the database• Looking after the Star Graduate scheme• Calling companies to gain more business• Updated website job board • Candidate interviews over the phone• Making Outbound and taking incoming calls• Post moon pig cards to congratulate candidates• Post jobs on LinkedIn

At Simply Lets I developed my communication skills even further by meeting a range of people and dealing with different situations on a daily basis. I undertook a massive amount of responsibility to the point of running the office and dealing with every enquiry on my own in under a year. As a result I learnt to organize myself in a professional manner in an extremely busy environment after being thrown in at the deep end. I had many responsibilities some of which were thrust upon me with no training whatsoever.Duties included:• Dealing with general enquiries from the public and landlords on a daily basis.• Booking and undertaking all viewings. • Carrying out all property management inspections. • Dealing with all maintenance issues, liaising with landlords and contractors to come to an agreement.• Negotiating between the tenants and landlords to renew their tenancies.• Drawing up the tenancy agreements and all relevant paperwork for when the tenants move in. • Registering and de-registering deposits.• Completing the check outs after a tenant has moved out.• Undertaking inventory updates. • Creating the weekly advert for the local paper.
