My passion is creating and commercializing innovative and disruptive technologies and systems through hands-on product development, management, funding, support and strategic alliances.I was educated at The College for Financial Planning with an emphasis on developing pro forma business models and forecasts for scalable startups.While no degrees in engineering or chemistry, I have become a life student of these trades by designing efficient, novel equipment and systems and by gaining a practical understanding of chemical structures with 9 patents issued for inventions and successfully reverse-engineering and developing chemical formulas for commercial applications.I have a keen attention to detail which is highlighted by testing, validating and registering with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency a new chemical disinfectant in the minimum allowed time period with zero comments or requests for changes by the agency.I have significant experience in successful fundraising including over $6M in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Regulation D Offerings and over $20M in venture capital.I have taught courses as an adjunct instructor at Missouri Western State University and Collin County Community College on successful money management and financial strategies.I have presented and spoke publicly at over 500 board meetings, corporate events, investment, sales, training and charitable events. My family is of Viking descent and settled in the western Southern Uplands of Scotland in the Scottish council area known today as Dumfries and Galloway.I most definitely married up and am at 34 years with Kelly and we have 2 wonderful adult children and 2 of the sweetest long-haired twin chihuahuas.The best advice I’ve received is, “Those that say marriage is 50/50 are wrong – you should both do your best to give 100% to your spouse every day and expect zero and you will have a wonderful life and a lasting and loving partnership”.
