I love what I do! Through a blend of engagement, enthusiasm, humor, and inspiration, I encourage youth and adults to embrace their uniqueness, enjoy their journey, and never give up! Based in Raleigh, I will travel anywhere to engage, entertain, and inspire audiences at career expos, colleges, companies, conferences, and anywhere else humans come together.INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKING:My love for inspiring humans began in a full-time Career Services role at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in which I educated students on a variety of career transition topics through both individual coaching and guest speaking engagements at fraternities, sororities, classes, and clubs. Since my time at UCF, I have educated and inspired audiences in a variety of academic settings.CAREER CONSULTING:In addition to freelancing as an Inspirational Speaker, I worked in a consulting role for more than 20 years at Right Management, a career transition company with a global presence. When I was six, I was the sole witness to my adoptive dad’s life-ending heart attack. As childhood progressed, I was bullied, faced a massive rip current head-on, sustained a concussion playing basketball, and miraculously survived a collison with a speeding bus! In college, I spent a semester with a roommate who practically never slept and repeatedly tried to light me on fire. Craziness!Since college, I have endured a variety of challenges as a job candidate, employee, and entrepreneur. As a “bonus,” I have been living with (managing) the unique dynamics of ADHD.
