Responsible for the facilities management contract that’s worth more than £300,000pa. Responsible for the business’ health and safety policy, ensuring it is implemented successfully and adhered to and tested periodically. Overseeing building projects, renovations, office moves and refurbishments, including the renovation of the office’s heating and cooling system and increasing desk capacity by 20%. To oversee the Compliance, Business Support and Operations teams, acting as the central hub of information, leading business improvement initiatives including centralising the directorate contract database and scheduling procurement requirements.Achievements Led the mobilisation of the business’ new facilities management contract worth £300,000pa, ensuring compliance with the business’ procurement framework and that a comprehensive handover between suppliers and business continuity was maintained throughout. Successfully wrote the business case for and led a building project worth £190,000, improving the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning throughout the office. Led a merger of the Facilities and Corporate Operations functions, leading on the consultation, and training. During the restructuring of the GDC’s Registration directorate, oversaw the staff consultation involving over 80 FTEs, which included amending team structures, specific job descriptions and liaising with People Services.
