Following the sale of our Agropur- LaCrosse business to Select Milk Producers out of Dallas, TX, we will continue doing business as Select Custom Solutions and providing identical manufacturing and business processes that have been in play here since the 1990’s. New ownership, same great local team doing business here in LaCrosse.

I'm originally a Grand Master Eugene Marquart student, later earning my black belt under Master Rod Larson. We hold classes on Tues/Thurs nights at 4:50/5:55/7:00. Courtesy-Integrity-Perseverance-Self Control- Indomitable Spirit drive our workout sessions. I use what I've learned in martial arts on a daily basis in my professional career. Once a long time baseball coach, now teaching kids TKD from ages 5 to 18 and adults of all ages. I LOVE IT!

Responsible for the day to day activities and challenges in the following departments: Production, Maintenance, Warehousing-Shipping, Safety, HC (HR), Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production Planning, Purchasing.I'm surrounded by a great team of managers and supervisors that certainly help make all the challenges easier to work through that's for sure. We're stronger as a team and that's what I focus on every day. In our business, change needs to be embraced and that's not always easy to do. Gathering information from all the resources available is key to making sound decisions as priorities need to be juggled and continuously re prioritize often throughout the day. The fast paced, sudden change environment is what we all signed up for, so getting after it head on is what we do and it's really the only way to get the job done correctly.

Manage the day to day operations and reported directly to the VP of Manufacturing (no Plant Manager role at this facility-this is the equivalent to the Plant Mgr role-title officially changed in 2016) for the (10) 24/5 and (1) 24/7 production lines. Responsible for 200+ hourly employees along with our Supervisory staff and Safety Coordinator. We manage a faced paced operation with several adjustments needed during any given day. Every day is a little different than the day before and I enjoy it a great deal.

Game management and people skills are a must. Knowledge of the rules, mechanics/signals of each sport required. Ability to perform these skills under pressure while maintaining focus and control is what makes a real difference on the court/field at any level.It's a great way to stay involved in the sports I enjoy!

Following the purchase of the blending facility fromForemost Farms, I stayed on and Managed the day-to-day operations for the dry blending business for Agropur ingredients until I was transferred to our LaCrosse facility in October of 2013.

Dry Blending facility specializing in dairy based dough enhancing blends used in the baking industry. In January 2013 our Plant was purchased by Agropur inc. I accepted a position with Agropur and stayed on to manage the same facility.

Started in the ice cream mix department before moving into the production supervisor position from 2002-2007.
