Since completing my service as a military intelligence officer, I have been blessed with two wonderful careers simultaneously - one as an adjunct faculty member for Saint Martin's University and Pierce College and the second as a relationship manager for WorkForce Central (WFC). As an adjunct faculty member, I have twenty years of experience designing and teaching twenty-five unique history, political science and international relations courses for Saint Martin's University, Pierce College and other educational institutions. During my military career, I was an area studies instructor at a service school and also a curriculum developer for two instructional programs. I also served five years on Pierce College's Quality Assurance Team for online learning. My academic degrees are in social studies, international relations and education from Boston University and Henderson State College. Additionally, I have completed sixty post-graduate credit hours in education at Seattle Pacific University.For sixteen years, I worked as an business account manager, workforce developer, and relationship manager for WorkForce Central and the Tacoma-Pierce County Economic Development Board (EDB). My primary responsibilities were building and maintaining relationships with major employers, educational institutions, government agencies and community organizations, and performing diverse workforce development activities. I am a graduate of the Northwest Economic Development Course and seven related professional development training workshops through Washington State's Department of Commerce.
