Pay off all your debt, so you can do whatever the hell you want. Pro tips: 1. how long do you fry chicken? 16 minutes. 2. Will hot steam from a buffet melt the skin off your knuckles if you change pans too slow? Yes3. Easiest way to pull feathers from raw chicken that the processing plant missed? Batter it first then pluck - way more grip. 4. What to use to scrub your floors? Dawn dish soap5. How do you gain immunity from Corona and most every other disease? Touch the leftover food of a couple hundred people every day with your bare hands. 5. If you have a burn on your hand, do you put your hand in the salt brine? No. It hurts and the sting keeps on giving. 6. How much sugar goes into the bread pudding? You don’t want to know.

This was one of the best adventures of my life. Waking up early, loading up kayaks on my trailer, heading out to the boat ramps to meet my clients and then taking them out on an adventure. I learned quite a bit owning my own business and as I look back, taking a huge risk and leaving a lucrative career in mortgage lending is something that I will never regret. For extra income this past year, I have also been waiting tables in a restaurant to be sure that I can make ends meet. Hopefully this shows to prospective employers that my work ethic is strong, and my motor runs stronger. I learned about life and learned about myself. As I officially close my business (and hang up my server apron), my kayaking now goes back to how it started - my favorite hobby and passion. To all of my clients that came on the water with me over the past year - I will always remember and appreciate each of you and each trip. The pay is not the greatest in the kayak eco tour business, but the memories that I made were worth more than any paycheck I have ever received. If any former customers want to get back on the water - let's do it. For free, as friends, working around my new career that I will be embarking on shortly.
