Deep collaboration with engineers is crucial to really understand what’s possible. Sometimes this can lead to a breakthrough moment in a user experience where the impossible becomes achievable.𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞As Design Leaders, we serve the business through Design. To effectively serve the business everything we do must align with the goals and ambitions of the business and its leaders.𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥To achieve great user experiences, it’s important to make sure you are focused on the right thing, and solving the right problems. User data and analytics are crucial when defining the problem, and user research is important to integrate into the process when defining the solution to make sure you get it right.𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝As designers we hold the skill sets that can change the world. It’s our responsibility to use our superpowers to benefit society. This translates to everything we do from building inclusive products and teams to acknowledging implicit bias and avoiding dark patterns in our designs.
