Engineering Project Manager
Current• Responsible for engineering and management of projects at two Illinois locations (Lemont and Channahon). Typical projects range from $200K to $1M+. • Duties include estimating costs, planning, design, drawings, scheduling, engineering, supervision of contractors, training, and financial processing for projects.• Responsibilities include ensuring projects are done safely by outside contractors and the final result meets the needs of the customer.• Examples of projects include installing new fire suppression systems for flammable truck and rail loading; inspection and replacement of deficient findings for 1M gal storage tanks; installing new pipe lines; purchase and installation of production equipment for bottling lines; upgrades to LV and MV power distribution networks; remodeling site facilities; design of truck and rail loading racks and associated product and service piping, etc.• Administrative functions include purchasing and receiving for projects; customer billing for steam, nitrogen, electrical , etc. usage; record keeping for project costs; engineering designs for new or modified construction projects; record keeping, etc. • This position requires the use of mechanical, chemical, electrical, structural engineering disciplines.
