Build personal relationships with current customers. Build new clientele. Be the “middle man” between customers and dispatch. Supervise and oversee jobsites while making sure customers are happy. We are a product and delivery service first. If we are running slow, my job is to be the one they can question to and vent on while still maintaining our customer/supplier relationship. Then go back to the office and work ok invoices, paperwork, quotes, unpaid balances, etc. (wear many hats) I am to know sales, production and operations.
