Conduct background checks on all prospective adoptive parents as well as employment background checks for State Institution applicants as required by statute. Supervise eight (8) civilian employees. Disseminate information as required by state and federal regulations to authorized agencies. Responsible for the security of all files and the purging of such files as dictated by statute. View all pending or proposed legislation pertaining to the Department. Conduct evaluations of employees and make recommendations for promotion.
