Working in the WSDOT Capital Facilities Office I was required to be the sole project manager for five various facility projects across the entire state. Each project I was responsible for the management of the scope, schedule and budget for the entire project duration (scoping, design, advertisement, construction and close out). Project experience ranged from tenant improvements, building HVAC and lighting controls, office relocation's and testing facility rehabilitation projects. I also served as a Project Manager on a WSDOT Mega Project and administered the Request For Proposal Evaluation process of a $15 million Design Build facility project. My duties consisted of managing the review of Consultant proposals, coordinating and leading proposer interviews, developing a Project Summary Evaluation and working with different entities within state government to make sure the process pertained to contract laws.

• Design Team Leader: A key member of government transportation projects ranging from $2 million to$98 million. Developed a complete Project Management Plan that was key in the coordination and communication with resource groups, local agencies and key stakeholders. Advanced the project by addressing high risk issues in the preliminary design phase and mitigated resistance by local officials and the community through effective Public Open House presentations. Managed a design team and consultants in the development of the project’s roadway and hydraulic design. Experience in Cost Risk Assesments for government projects.• Lead Design Engineer- Developed the design, quantified materials, assessed the constructability and produced project plans for the following disciplines: Roadway Channelization, Structural Earth Wall, Soldier Pile Wall, Concrete Cantilever and Modular Block Wall, Roadway Prism Construction, Construction Staging, Concrete Barrier, TESC, Access Management, Pedestrian Curb Ramp and Sidewalks, Fish Passage design, Stormwater treatment and conveyance, Wetland Ponds with HDPE liners.• Lead Structural Inspector of WSDOT’s First Precast Segmental Column and Crossbeam Bridge Structure.• Field Engineer- Coordinated inspection and survey crews while working directly with the contractor on schedules, payments, claim issues, constructability issues, interpretation of contract plans and specifications. Inspection of contractor’s activities for plan conformance, specifications, special provisions, and other applicable standards; inspector daily reports; materials documentation; contractor’s monthly pay estimates; change orders; punch-lists; as-built records• Environmental Permitting Engineer- Prepared Environmental and Hydraulics Scope and Estimate of Services. Worked with other agencies such as WDFW, FHWA, ARMY Corps of Engineers, Counties, Cities, and Local Tribes.
