• Establishes state contracts for the procurement of goods and services for the Department of Corrections and monitors purchases made for conformance with the Model Procurement Code (KRS 45A). Conducts studies of operational policies and procedures across the agency.• Serves in the purchasing of commodities and services required by the various Divisions within the Department. Ensures budgetary compliance and availability. Reviews requests for program budgetary shifts.
