    Duties consisted of managing every business facet of what grew from a three-physician practice to a six-physician group making Neurology Consultants one of the three largest neurology practices in the state. These duties included not only management of all daily business functions but directing the design of long term strategic planning, creation of a marketing plan, instituting a budget, personnel management, completion of an effective compliance plan, daily office function oversight and development of an employee handbook and policy and procedures manual. All the aforementioned program and plans were not present when I arrived.From the financial quarter prior to arrival to my departure in 2002 Net Revenue grew from less than one million to an annual Net Revenue of approximately 2.5 million. This drastic change was due to physical growth and a team commitment of communication and coordination that had never before been present at Neurology Consultants management level.Soon after arrival I facilitated creation of a Tenant Association that was able to arrange bulk-purchasing arrangements for members opening a significant opportunity for savings. As in previous positions I created an intensive internship program for Health Care Management majors from The University of Alabama.Industry involvement included being Vice-President of the Tuscaloosa Chapter of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in 2001 and President for a portion of 2002 as well as an active member of the state and national MGMA. I completed the American College of Medical Practice Executives certification process and received CMPE status in March 2002.Often given the opportunity to speak to local business and civic groups, University of Alabama management classes, The University of Alabama Student Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and as the Neurology section facilitator during the Alabama-MGMA Winter Conference 2002.

Spoke also at the Fall Conference ‘95 hosted by the Alabama Association of Assisted Living Facilities (AAALF) and participated on AAALF’s Board as District 4 Representative.
