I’m Dan and recently I’ve served as the Small Group Director at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. I’m searching for a position where I might help others increasingly become who they were created to be.--What I’ve DoneAt Upper Arlington Lutheran Church –• Directed vision, equipping, formation, recruitment, and administration of small group ministry• Served as author, executive editor, and team lead for SG content• Identified, equipped, and empowered seasoned and new leaders and connected those seeking to join groups• Created podcast training for group leaders (content/recording/editing)• Utilized innovative strategies to create experiences of deeper connection and belonging• Recruited and led SG ministry leadership teams• Led UALC staff in monthly prayer and worship• Selected and assigned Scripture for congregational daily devotions-- Why It Matters?We’re constantly being shaped by our circumstances; the things and people around us. Most of that formation goes entirely unexamined. We rarely think about what is shaping us and who we are being shaped into.
