Hello! My name is Dan Kipp. I am a social impact consultant dedicated to creating a safer, more equitable world through principles and practices of empowerment. I believe that individuals, organizations, and communities have the ability to practice self determination, affect positive change, and build resilience in the face of adversity, oppression, and inequity.In my work, I serve as a thought partner to develop, implement, and evaluate programs, coalitions, and strategies that address systemic gaps and community needs. As an organizer, I build community-centered power by prioritizing inclusive and equitable leadership, establishing trust with diverse stakeholders, and taking a strengths-based approach to creative problem solving. I find great meaning in serving as an interlocutor between individuals and ideas, between communities and causes. I am an experienced facilitator, comfortable engaging diverse audiences ranging in size from 3 to 300 in transformative workshops, events, and campaigns.I have worked as an independent consultant and an employee in the nonprofit sector, serving clients and communities in academic, athletic, private, political, and community-based settings. I have been a team member, trained and supervised co-workers, coordinated teams of volunteers, and built coalitions with community partners. I am a quick learning self-starter who enjoys collaboration and flourishes in fluid environments.
