Continuing Airworthiness Manager, Hercules

Leader of the Hercules Technical Support Cell, responsible for the provision of Continuing Airworthiness Management services for New Zealand's Hercules fleet (soon to be, fleet's). Our team manage all continuing airworthiness requirements for the platform, such as configuration control, aircraft maintenance manuals, aircraft maintenance program among many others. They also lead investigation into fleet reliability issues and safety occurrences. Responsible for establishing the C-130J technical support cell, which will soon replace the C-130H fleet, through 2024 and 2025. This role includes significant project management responsibility for developing an essential aspect required to safely introduce and operate a new aircraft platform into service. Across the C-130H and C-130J Technical Support Teams are staff ranging from degree qualified engineers to vastly experienced technical civilian employees, working together to ensure continuing airworthiness throughout the aircraft's life cycle.
