I am a Kennesaw State University graduate with a degree in Technical Communication. My main area of concentration is Technical Writing with a background in User Experience Design (UX). As a Technical Communicator and Writer, I focus my writing on being user-centered and simple, yet detailed for my target audience. I have experience working with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts as the team Technical Writer. I collaborate with and support teams cross-functionally to ensure internal and external user guides, documentation, and communications are professional, delivered on time, and easily accessible.I enjoy conceptualizing and creating user focused documentation, utilizing aspects such as layout and design to convey and communicate my writing. I think it is important to consider the way technical writing is received by a user or customer. Getting into their mindset and knowing what they need to get out of a document makes it a fun but challenging puzzle to solve on my end.Some of my other skills and software experience deal with Instructional Design, Confluence, JIRA, Technical Editing, Help Authoring Tools, Adobe and Office Suites, and Video Editing.
