Selected out of thousands of applicants for a competitive summer internship at Nordstrom's Head Quarters. Working in the Women's Designer Shoe division, I contributed to the daily purchasing of designer shoes that would be allocated to Nordstrom stores throughout the US. Day to day tasks involved learning the companies computer systems, writing orders, and forming relationships with product suppliers. Throughout the summer I successfully completed an intern project in which I analyzed Nordstrom's recent partnership with the customizable women's shoe company, "Shoes of Prey". After pulling sales reports and talking to Nordstrom store managers, I formulated a business plan to extend the partnership with Shoes of Prey to more stores across the country.

Promoted to head novice coach in 2014. Managed all summer rowing camps at Pocock Rowing Center. Supervised two intern-coaches. Organized and led team’s travel to and participation in the Green Lake Summer Regatta in Seattle. Coached team to four silver medals at the Regatta.

Responsible for introducing beginners to the sport of rowing. Developed training programs and taught technique and strategy.
