Nurtured.Co aims to rejuvenate and restore coral reefs around the globe, through the use of artificial reefs using safe, low voltage electrical currents to grow calcium carbonate on steel, creating naturalistic coral reef structures of any scale to create or restore vibrant marine ecosystems rapidly. Nurtured.co Artificial Reef Technology grows coral 2-10 times faster and has been shown to be 1600% to 5000% less susceptible to severe bleaching events than corals on nearby reefs. Nurtured.co technology greatly accelerates coral settlement, growth, healing, durability, and resistance to environmental stresses such as high temperatures, sediment, and pollution. As existing reefs decline, Nurtured.co provides the ability to grow new reefs and regrow parts of existing reefs at scale, whilst preserving marine biodiversity.
