- Hands on manager of the Engineering Infrastructure team, which is responsible for maintaining our labs consisting of a hybrid of rack and virtual servers, supporting several OSs and network configurations; building environments for development and test teams as well as special setups. Our team also owns CM processes, CI/CD implementation and improvements, and process automation. - Architect and run various special projects that fall outside or across normal developer teams, such as build tools process and development, POC projects, and replication of customer environments for development and test.- Transformed Fidelis from a manual delivery process to an (almost) complete CI/CD shop. On a daily basis I am troubleshooting lab problems, automation failures, product integrations, build issues, deployment issues, etc. I guide my team through complex problems, and take advantages of opportunities to enhance their troubleshooting skills.- Led team through three lab relocations involving multiple sites, as well as multiple design iterations for hardware realignment and upgrades.- Unified our virtualization profile, starting from a small number of non-connected vhosts to a managed group of VMWare clusters utilizing centralized storage, Active Directory role based security, and flexible networks involving distributed switches with VLAN tagged traffic. - In three years, earned two quarterly Pride Awards (similar to Employee of Quarter), and recipient of Fidelis' first ever Pride Award of the Year.- In 11+ years as a manager, supervisor, or lead, I've never had an employee resign or request to be moved to a different team. Odd factoid to brag about, but I'm proud of that and the relationships I have with other employees.

- ITASS technician: Operated and maintained various Navy SONAR systems, including ITASS (SQR-19, SQQ-28), MFTA, SIPS, Block 1, associated auxiliaries, and test equipment.- Work Center Supervisor for CA02 workcenter: Managed team of up to 7 members, whose responsibilities included hardware maintenance, watch teams, and daily work schedules.- Lead Petty Officer (LPO) CX01 workcenter: Managed the Combat Systems Maintenance Control office. Responsible for drafting all Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) scenarios and schedules, Assisting the Surface Test Officer (STO) with daily work and ship's CS maintenance, including shipyard maintenance availability.- Held multiple division collateral duties, including training PO, safety PO, and CSTT lead.
