By trade, I'm a software engineer who works on all aspects of planning, development, operations, infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance. I don't shy away from tackling organizational and managerial problems to best serve the product and customers. I have worked primarily with web-based software as a service applications, but I find myself drawn to solving backend performance, scalability, and maintainability problems, whether technical or organizational.I've worked or interacted in several different industries (healthcare, finance, IT security, and consulting) at companies both big and small, and have helped and watched several of them grow through various stages of development.
