I am a highly versatile technical leader and change agent with a strong background in program management, product management, IT management, cybersecurity, quality management systems, team leadership, and process optimization through Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.Throughout my career I've been driven by a passion to simplify processes and improve outcomes for customers, users, and employees. I enjoy learning new business segments, markets, product types, and technologies. I've worked on diverse products and technologies from healthcare software, medical devices, cloud based services, and telecommunications products.I've always been eager to take on new challenges, both professionally and in my community life. That's led me to develop new skills like managing medical device regulatory filings, developing cybersecurity services, and applying six sigma methods to software development. As a leader of my local Rotary Club during 2020-2021, I applied collaboration, creativity, and project management to deliver community service events during the pandemic. As a Product Manager, I've coached others in how to gather "voice of the customer" to identify the customers' unmet needs, how to quantify their desired value, and determine the product strategies to deliver those outcomes. I've applied these skills to conduct market research and develop product strategies to meet those needs. I've also worked closely with other product managers to ensure compliance with regulations, like FDA and EU MDR. I believe that a successful product manager needs to demonstrate total ownership for their product, be constantly learning, and be a strong collaborator within and without the organization. As a Change Agent, I've led projects and mentored other Black Belts to improve processes including product quality, support efficiency, installation cycle time, cyber incident response, and product configuration/quoting. I've led strategic process improvement planning for a P&L and managed the resulting portfolio of projects. I've received recurring feedback on the strengths of my analytical abilities, communication skills, and the results delivered. As an IT Leader I've led global teams to transform, implement, and consolidate systems including service CRMs, customer/cybersecurity websites, agile software engineering tools, and development/demo environments.
