General Manager responsible for P & L of a growing $50 million business having 160 employees manufacturing parts for the automotive industry.

Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance / Facilities and Quality for a 1.1 million square foot facility haveing annual sales of $300 million making driveline products for the Auto Industry.

As V P of operations I was responsible for purchasing, quality and manufacturing operations for 4 plants, having sales of $135 million, and directed the efforts of 950 associates. Sauer Danfoss supplies hydrostatic pumps and motors to the off road and heavy equipment industry.

During the first 15 years I worked for BW I held positions of Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Manager of Industrial and Marine Products (Product Engineering), Director of Product Engineering for Manual Transmissions and 4 Wheel Drive products and Director Of Operations. As director of operations I was responsible for daily operations making.

At Delco Remy I was a Manufacturing Engineer, a Sr Manufacturing Engineer and the General Supervisor of a tool room that built special machinery. This tool rool had 90 employees, represented by the UAW.

Worked in vaarious product engineering areas before transferring to Delco Remy in 1971
