Level Two It Technician
CurrentMy role and responsibilities within the last year have increased in scope drastically. I'm now responsible for maintaining not only Ellowes Hall Sports College but the other 6 Invictus schools within the Academy Trust. As well as being the primary point of contact for the newly acquired Rufford Primary school and newly opened Revive Alternative Learning Provision. My latest project was the large-scale server upgrade and relocation from an off-site data centre to a new on-site central location. Additionally, my responsibilities now include:Daily running of the active directory of the entire Invictus Education TrustCreating new users and maintaining an organised system of Organisational Unit for the different sites. are created and have the correct group policies enforced on them.Specialised Network security Being the first point of contact for the technicians to ensure that their long-term projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.Meeting the IT requirement of newly acquired sites.Helping to ensure that our online digital presence is up-to-date and policies reflect the requirements of law.Keeping the asset registers up to date throughout the different sites.Providing virtual learning solutions to over 9000 studentsQuickly and effectively adapting traditional teaching methodology to the required E-learning platforms.
