A leading a provider of marketing logistics, fulfillment digital print and print procurement services with 1,800 employees across 14 locations.; Lead responsibility for new technology research and review, including providing architectural oversight for IT, development, print and fulfillment divisions while specializing in printing and workflow as related to print and fulfillment. Directly design, estimate, proof of concept, develop and implement new projects. Consistently provide top level support troubleshooting problems across systems when individual teams cannot find a resolution. Act as key liaison between the technology and non-technology organizations within the company. Selected Achievements:Successfully designed and developed custom order clustering software to decrease mis-picked orders to <1% while providing a 15% decrease in labor costs, including an in depth analysis of the current workflow and processed to provide a baseline to measure against. Strategically designed and led development of promotional material templates and workflow for large format output file processing and production replacing the previous process which was very manual and took 3 people 48 work hours to reach print the ready state. Architected and deployed Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2008 for a team of 30 in-house and off shore developers.

Designed and developed full circle training material content management and production automation system utilizing GMC software for workflow automation. Our company realized a 50% drop in production costs with this workflow automation.

Leading consulting firm servicing the parent company of a major local energy provider as well as print and fulfillment providers in the Atlanta area.; Directly managed the company server farm including: email, web site, development environment and storage while simultaneously architecting and developing leading customer commissioned software. Seamlessly managed hardware purchases as well as asset management, provisioned communications lines, provided IT security services and facilitated facility build out. Selected Achievements:Co designed and developed a legal document scanning and management system for an energy provider to significantly scan 50+ million pages of legal documents. Designed, purchased, built and installed isolated server farm (a multi-tier firewall, load balanced web servers, clustered SQL servers as well as clustered file storage servers) that legally could not be directly connected to the corporate network for an energy provider.Adeptly designed and developed Great Plains data access layer that was later updated to VB.Net and is still preferred today over eConnect as it is 3x faster.Effectively designed and developed an application utilizing pre-defined standard order formats to allow easy order insertion into Great Plains.

On the original implementation team for Great Plains, now known as Microsoft Dynamics GP. Created a data access library prior to Microsoft's eConnect product existed. This is still in use today as a higher performing, more reliable alternative to eConnect.
