Lead Project Engineer of several multi-million dollar pump development programs for U.S. Navy submarines. Duties include:· Planning, developing, and maintaining component development budgets and schedules. This effort includes estimating all development tasks throughout the design, their approximate duration, labor required to complete the tasks, and Vendor cost associated with the developments.· Developing technical scopes of work detailing requirements for vendor design deliverables, testing programs, prototype development and production hardware· Developing component procurements specification’s detailing all technical and programmatic requirements necessary to design, manufacture, qualify, and produce the pump and motor unit· Reviewing all vendor deliverables such as design reports, calculations, test procedures, test results and drawings, for technical adequacy and adherence to technical and contractual requirements.· Coordinate with the customer to provide information on the component development and receive approval for select tasks/design decisions by formal and informal communication· Supporting component integration into the system, reviewing and approving 3D models of the component, and providing component details and problems solving with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, program office, etc…).· Preparing and delivering program review presentations to the customer (the US Navy)· Answering technical questions and providing justification for technical and programmatic decisions· Reporting and understanding program tracking metrics with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)· Overseeing component deliveries and providing installation support· Working as the acting supervisor for a group of 12+employees in my supervisor’s absence.

Managed master failure rate files for the 787-9 Systems. Prepared and updated reliability reports for 787-8, 787-9 and F135 components.
