Playing by Ear: The Bruce Lundvall BiographyAuthor of the legendary record exec's life as an artist-centric lover of music who signed an incredible number of artists, including Norah Jones, Herbie Hancock, Amos Lee, Joe Lovano, Willie Nelson, Bobby McFerrin, Paquito D'Rivera, Kurt Elling, Ruben Blades, Cassandra Wilson, Jason Moran, Terence Blanchard, Wynton Marsalis, Greg Osby, Richard Marx, Dave Koz (all of whom have been video interviewed for the project website: artistshare.com/playingbyear), Dianne Reeves, Dexter Gordon, Chucho Valdes, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, many others. Chapters will include in-depth views of Bruce as president of Columbia, founder of Elektra Musician, and president of Blue Note Records. Previously, handled all copy editing for print and online editions of the weekly magazines Mediaweek and Brandweek. When MW, BW & Adweek all merged into one magazine (Adweek), I continued copyediting as Senior Copy Editor.

Weekly new releases and staff picks; weekly playlists; programed three radio stations (Jazz Today, Jazz Giants, Smooth Jazz); developed weekly featured playlists and radio stations recommendations. (Note: Napster was purchased by Rhapsody in August 2011.)
