• This six (6) month contract involved development and support work on the Halifax Class Modernization(HCM) program.
• Developed code in Java for tactical displays, control interfaces and database manipulation.
• Scripted tools for database generation and manipulation in Perl and VBA along with XMLschema validation.
• Produced documentation on developed tools and participated in meetings.

• Studied NTSC ITU656 and VGA standards. Wrote VHDL code and ran simulations in Quartus and ModelSim. Tested the design on an Altera FPGA board with video input from a Nintendo 64 gaming console and output to a computer.
