I am passionate about developing myself, leading others and coaching football, I have a relentless pursuit of excellence while maintaining a positive attitude with an abundance of enthusiasm.I was the Academy Manager at Burton Albion FC for seven seasons, i am now Academy Director at Catagory Two Club Peterborough United. During my journey in leadership I have rebuilt both the football development programmes and been responsible for the restructure of the Academy staff whilst guiding two clubs through six different Premier League’s Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) audits, growing development programmes in turn the reputation and retaining various Category statuses.I have helped develop several players for the professional and international game both within New Zealand Football’s International programme and at Burton Albion FC and Peterborough United. Working with players both as a lead and assistant coach on the grass and as a manager of a professional football club development programme.I have been fortunate to enjoy playing and coaching football all over the world. Playing at the FIFA World Club Championships in Japan 2008, coaching at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, managing the Burton Albion Academy to a last 16 place in the 2020/21 FA Youth Cup, plus working as first team coach at Burton Albion for the 2022/23 season, all being healthy experiences in my current role as a leader within a top English Football League Club.
