Mechanical designer for one of the largest sanitary submersible pump stations in Los Angeles that will tie into the existing pump station to increase pump capacity and provide redundant pumps. Design included the pump station, HVAC and plumbing for the electrical building. Two sluice gates were also designed for the station.Project Manager for the expansion of an existing sanitary lift station. Provided a new chopper pump with VFD and MCC panel to the existing submersible non-clog pump lift station. Other improvements included upgrading the undersized MCC HVAC system that was causing the system to overheat in the summer months.Technical manager for the design of a new reverse osmosis (RO) system and chemical storage and feed system to be added to the existing SMURRF system. The new RO will allow the facility to process 0.5 mgd of brackish water as part of the sustainable water infrastructure project to help the city become water independent.Project manager to remove and replace an existing 0.6-MG steel reservoir tank and pump station with a new 0.8-MG reservoir and booster pump station.Project manager to design two new centralized compressed plant air system at the existing treatment plant. The plant has over 20 various types and models of air compressors with variations in make, model, age, and run time. For each location, I designed new compressed air loops with a centralized compressors to provide supply air to the dissolved air flotation thickener (DAFT), pneumatic valves, and bubblers throughout the plant.Mechanical designer for a progressive design-build project for a recycle water pump station. The pump station operates between 8mgd -16mgd through a 4-mile-long force main. In Phase 2 of the project, solid treatment was added to the plant.
