My current role overseas all of adi projects’ cost estimating, project control and cost management activity, ensuring project profit margins are maximised across many multi million pound industrial EPC projects running concurrently. Alongside this, pioneering a continuous improvement programme that aims to standardise the way in which projects are delivered to maximise efficiency, quality and profit on each and every project as the business transitions through a period of exponential growth.

Working as a project controller on multidisciplinary projects up to 8 figures in value across a variety of industrial sectors, I successfully manage the cost and change control for blue chip clients, ensuring project performance reporting is accurate in line with project manager and client expectations. Alongside this, I work with senior leaders to constantly improve existing and develop new project management tools within the business and evolve the way in which our projects are controlled.

My role as a junior technician developed from exclusively providing design support, to working as a cost manager on multi million pound, multidisciplinary projects. I also supported projects with the management of changes, ensuring these are incorporated into schedule/resourcing, risk and cost baselines. Working with key clients is at the forefront of this role, ensuring that excellent client care leads to winning further fee earning projects that allow the WSP industrial business to grow.

As a design apprentice, I provided engineering design support on a range of projects from new processing facilities to upgrading existing operations throughout their design life including planning, concept, detailed design and construction. I liaised directly with key clients to provide process and mechanical design support, conducted site-based work and delivered design and draughting support to many projects across the business.

A trusted role that involved liaising with key suppliers to ensure our customer’s demands were met, setting and striving to exceed monthly membership, sales and financial targets, advertising the gym through various social media channels and being a port of call for members with any concerns or feedback. I also worked one to one with some members to provide coaching in fitness and powerlifting, alongside running free weekly classes to help others improve their strength and fitness.
