Dan Savickas Email and Phone Number
I have years of experience working on behalf of free market principles and decentralization of government. In December 2017, I graduated from American University in three-and-a-half years with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Statistics. I am continuously using this knowledge and skill set to further these causes. Currently, I serve as the VP of Policy and Government Affairs for the Taxpayers Protection Alliance. In this role, I determine TPA's policy priorities, manage a team of policy analysts and government affairs staff, and write and edit outward content promoting TPA's free market economic vision. In the past, my writings have been featured in National Review, FoxNews, TownHall, RealClearMarkets, The Hill, and Washington Examiner, among other publications. I was also quoted in Senator Rand Paul's book, The Case Against Socialism. In my personal life, I strive to make disciples that delight in the supremacy of Jesus Christ in Washington, DC and beyond. I am an active member of Restoration Church in Northwest DC, and hope to reflect Christ's love through my service to that community and our city. If you're interested in getting connected to a faith-based community in DC, please reach out to me or visit RestorationChurchDC.com to learn more about that.On the side, I'm an avid sports fan, hopelessly rooting on my beloved Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Flyers, and New York Yankees. I also love mixed martial arts and wrote an algorithm that creates win probabilities for UFC fights. For any MMA fans, you can check that out at cagecalculus.com.
