Within Expedia Groups Partner Solutions department, I lead the team that aligns the affiliate partner business with our accommodation supply partners.The focus is to ensure supply parity whilst maximising distribution within 3 key Areas:• Monitor, enforce and improve supply parity, policies and processes• Identify, review, implement and communicate revenue generating opportunities• Drive education and communication between internal supply and affiliate stakeholdersWith accommodation supply being the main line of business for our division, I am involved in various projects across business units to give input, guidance and ensure supply quality and correct usage, minimising any potential risk.

I focus primarily on leading a multiple-level team within Market Management, the account management arm of Expedia Group that oversees the existing hotel relationships. I lead my assigned organisation by establishing, communicating and executing the region strategy, cultivating an agile work environment, identifying and coaching talent and building an external and internal pipeline of talent.

As the Senior Global Account Manager I am responsible for negotiating and maintaining hotel chain agreements, strategic business development of the assigned accounts and managing relationships with hotel partners. I explore and identify opportunities in co-operation with chain headquarters to enable revenue maximisation, distribution extension and brand recognition through Expedia Groups portfolio of brands and solutions.Working closely with internal stakeholders of relevant divisions, I oversee the delivery of the agreed upon actions and items and ensure communication and execution of strategies. During regular reviews with my chain partners, we evaluate, review and if required adjust strategies and goals in line with agreed upon KPIs.

As the Area Manager for North and Central England I am leading, coaching and developing the team responsible for the account management, strategy implementation and planning of accommodation partners in the area. I am responsible for execution of internal business initiatives and improving process efficiencies in addition to developing and sustaining strong hotel partner relationships. This includes driving key activities that support Expedia’s revenue goals and strategic objectives. The core focus for this position is day to day management of my team and the management of broader regional responsibilities.

My primary responsibility is to initiate, develop and maintain a high quality portfolio of hotel products (i.e. relevant, attractive and competitive) for Expedia’s fast-growing global customer base in my assigned markets.In doing so, I continuously work with hotel partners to help them maximise the production potential from their participation in the Expedia marketplace by smartly utilising the power of Expedia's unique data insights, marketing, distribution and revenue management tool set.
