Seconded to sister company in Germany to work as the principal driveability engineer.Independently carried out geotechnical interpretations and driveability assessments for the evaluation of equipment selection for marine construction projects. Included use of finite analysis models.Attendance alongside a project meeting with designers and main contractor for the Sandbank OWF development, acting as the geotechnical expert on behalf of company.

Completed summer project work for British Gypsum critically analysing the stability of the current stope and pillar dimensions at an underground operation in Cumbria. This included the use of both empirical and mathematical modelling of historical lab data and in-situ data collected on-site. Finite element analysis was also introduced within the analysis.

-Graduated in 2013 with an MSc in Geotechnics at Camborne School of Mines. This course included modules in Rock Mechanics, Soil Mechanics, Hydrogeology, Surface Excavation Design and Underground Excavation and Tunnelling in addition to an industrial project with British Gypsum.-Majority of experience has been focused on rock mechanics for mining.-Additional experience in soil mechanics investigations.-Industrial summer project with British Gypsum; produced a focused report on critical analysis of underground room and pillar design utilising empirical and mathematical techniques in addition to finite element analysis.-Experience in using Dips, Slide, Phase2, Examine, UNWEDGE, SWEDGE, RocPlane, and RocLab for MSc report purposes
