We chop, squeeze, zest and toast nuts, fruits, spices and other real ingredients to create delicious, evocative flavors. And we bake our donuts so the ingredients can bloom without being weighed down by frying oil. Our mini donuts and DIY donut decorating kits are available through nationwide shipping and throughout NYC from our commercial kitchen in Manhattan. Dan led the Consumer Practice in the San Francisco office, delivering revenue and profit margin growth while diversifying the portfolio with lifestyle technology, retail, fashion and sports marketing accounts. He also oversaw the firm’s global Consumer Sector, working with teams worldwide on organic growth efforts and new business development. While at FH, Dan led account teams supporting Samsung Mobile/Sochi Winter Olympics, JPMorgan Chase, Visa, Albertsons/Safeway, Ross Dress for Less and Macy’s.

Dan co-founded Double Forte, a consumer lifestyle marketing communications firm, and oversaw business development and account services. His account roster included Clif Bar & Company, Chiquita/Fresh Express, Bell Helmets, CamelBak and Eidos/Lara Croft.

Dan ran the entertainment and consumer products account group, directing a team of 14. His work spanned corporate and product communications for consumer and lifestyle technology leaders. He oversaw communications for a large portfolio of video games based on Mattel’s most popular characters and Fox Entertainment properties, and he introduced the first camera phone technology in North America, created by LightSurf Technologies.

Dan directed corporate, product and employee communications for Sega’s console and PC gaming companies in North America. He launched two video game consoles, including the first home gaming system with Internet connectivity for online gaming, and created product introduction campaigns for more than 200 video games.He managed corporate communications, including executive visibility campaigns, analyst relations, public affairs and internal communications. Dan also developed an issues management communications plan and served as crisis spokesperson for a range of topics, including product boycotts and violence in video games.

Dan directed national public relations programs for Adobe Systems, The 3DO Company and the Natural Wonders retail chain. He also launched the SEIKO MessageWatch, securing “Product of the Year” endorsements in BusinessWeek and Time.

Dan managed national publicity and in-store consumer promotions for Del Monte Snack Cups and ran executive visibility programs for Michael Dell, securing two “Entrepreneur of the Year” awards. He also launched a youth non-profit organization for Oakland A’s pitcher Dave Stewart called KidsCorps.
